Designing Internet Based Activities
(AECT Standard 1)
Technology Facilitators work to design online Professional Development for their faculty and staff. This project serves as a resource for teachers to learn about how to familiarize teachers with the benefits of using QR codes in the classroom and in professional development as a learning and training digital tool.

Building Community Relationships
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg School district’s Instructional Technology Department works closely with families at school events (PTA Meetings & Curriculum Nights). This project serves as a resource for parents to work with their children at home to teach Digital Citizenship.

Designing Virtual Fieldtrip Activities
(AECT Standard 2)
Technology Facilitators collaborate with one another to meet the instructional needs of students. This project serves as a resource for 7th grade Social Studies teachers. It was designed to be sequenced at the end of a unit on the study of the Renaissance. (NCSCOS: 7.H2 & 7.H.2.3) Both formative and summative assessment is built into the Virtual Fieldtrip.

Screencasting/Video Editing Activities
(AECT Standard 4)
Technology Facilitators mentor and empower students, teachers, administrators, and community members in the use of their school media center.
This project serves as a resource for teachers (in a specific Charlotte Mecklenburg school) to learn how to reserve the school Media Center resources by using the Google Calendar Appointment Slot feature.
