Kannapolis City Schools named Kevin Garay as the new Superintendent

The Kannapolis City Schools named Kevin Garay as the new Superintendent beginning in August. He was unanimously selected as a proven educational leader with over 20 years of experience connected to improving student learning and staff development. In 2014, Mr. Garay become the principal of Mallard Creek High School, which is part of the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System. Garay is in the Ed.D. program and superintendency concentration.
